Training Methods and Style



Mayfield recognises that people learn differently, and respond differently to the range of training techniques. We therefore aim to include an effective balance between theoretical perspectives and practical applications. We also balance the facilitation of challenging and participative exercises with the presentation of essential background information.

Research has shown that learning takes place best in a stimulating, but relaxed environment. Mayfield has therefore developed a training style which is relatively informal, whilst remaining appropriate to the subject matter and situation.

Materials

Every Mayfield course is designed to include an appropriate selection of high quality training materials and exercises. Delegates receive a comprehensive workbook/folder, so that valuable course materials, personal notes and action plans can be filed for quick future reference back in the workplace.

Evaluation

We are committed to ensuring that all Mayfield training is regularly updated and adapted to suit the changing needs of our customers. We therefore offer delegates the opportunity to give feedback on all elements of our training. We also promise to respond personally to any specific points or suggestions, if requested.
